Instructions
  1. Rinse, drain, peel and slice ginger.

  2. Rinse and drain aged cucumber; Slice off the stem with a paring knife; Cut it into halves with the knife; Scrape out the seeds; Peel it with a Y-shaped peeler; Cut it into pieces.

  3. Rinse and drain pork meatballs.

  4. Fill a stockpot with 2.5L water; Bring to the boil over a high heat; Add all the ingredients; Bring to the boil over a high heat again; Turn to a medium heat; Cover the pot with its lid; Cook over a medium heat for 30 minutes; Stir seasonings into the soup; Turn off the heat; Arrange the soup in serving bowls; Ready to serve.
